I like dogs. They are cool in so many ways. The dog is really man's best friend. They are very useful for humans. You may wonder why, of all known animals, only dogs are referred to as “man's best friend?” If you own a pet dog, it will be easier to answer this question, but even if you don’t have one, this story is your answer.
The conditions surrounding the baby burial remain unknown, but one thing is clear: had it not been for the runaway dog that dug him up, a Chinese baby who had been buried alive would not be recovered today.
Yang Jiali says his newly acquired dog took off from his home in Wutan, a town in the Megalopolis of Chongqing. She was looking for him when she saw him digging a hole in the ground.
Under the bush, she discovered what her dog was desperate to uncover: a month old baby boy. He was tenderly wrapped in a white cloth, and despite in need for medical attention, he was alive and breathing.
She moved the child to a local hospital. Doctors believe he may have had an illness and that his parents buried him, and mistakenly thought he had died.
“The baby looked pale, his breathing and heart rate was slow,” said Dr. An Yue. “He had low body temperature, and his whole mouth was full of mud.”
