Children are often fond of dogs; they are loyal companions with whom they like to cuddle or to whom they can tell their story. Usually it goes very well, but beware of bite incidents. Often the children have been victimized. Over 40% of children being bitten by a dog is under ten years. In the vast majority of cases it was bitten by the dog to respond to something that the child did and there was at that time no active supervision by adults. Therefore it is important that children learn how to safely deal with dogs. But other things, such as who is responsible, are as important when it comes to children and dogs. Luckily most most of the times they are buddies for life. Like in this video.
